It has an optical eye that allows the prints to come off of the latex machines go into the laminator then get registered on this cutter for precise print to cut registration. We purchased this printer/cutter combo new and it has been a very stable machine for our shop Early on we used this as a printer and cutter but lately just for cutting prints off of our latex printers. You are bidding on a Roland cj-500 printer cutter. more Variable, works but there are lines in the printing that should not be there comes exactly as shown I do not have the software so this would be perfect as a backup or an additional for someone that already has this machine.
